End the summer loud and proud! Summer Pulse on the Plaza closes out the season with Pride, a joyful, free, all-ages celebration presented in partnership with Queer Centre Comox Valley. Come celebrate, create, and dance with your community in Downtown Courtenay. Free admission. All ages. All are welcome.

Parade participants will meet at 10:30am at Harmston Park.

The parade down 5th street will begin ~11:30am, leading across the bridge and into Pride in the Park.

Pride started as a riot and we want to represent that this year. With growing concerns over human rights in Canada, the USA, and all over the globe, we want this parade to be a protest. Wear leather jackets, patches made by local bands and artists, dig into your old emo wardrobe, just make a big statement with whatever you do. Participation in the theme is not mandatory, we also expect to see people in full rainbow or showing up as they are.

Join us for an afternoon of great food, cold drinks, and even better company as we keep the Pride spirit alive. Dance the afternoon away with our live DJ spinning crowd-favourite hits, grab a refreshing beer and enjoy delicious eats from the menu.

Expect fabulous drag appearances, plenty of laughs, and a welcoming space to connect, celebrate, and make unforgettable memories with your community.

Donations are warmly appreciated, with all proceeds supporting Foundry BC and the incredible work they do for youth across our province.

Pride weekend is fabulous, chaotic, glittery, and possibly a little dehydrating—so come decompress with Queers & Cheers at our Pride Cool-Off Party.

After a weekend full of drag, dancing, rainbow shenanigans, and whatever debauchery you are willing to admit to, we’re creating a calm, welcoming space to land softly.
Come claim a spot on the patio, play a game, sip something tasty, and regale the group with your finest rainbow tales and Pride adventures. Whether you were serving looks all weekend or stayed home protecting your social battery, you belong here.

We’ll also have:

• A yarn rainbow-tail-making workshop—because apparently we need even more fabulous accessories
• Games, low-pressure connection, and plenty of laughs
• Sensory activities to help your nervous system gently re-enter “regular life” (whatever that is)

Bring your tired feet, your post-Pride glow, and your best stories. Come relax, connect, and have one last little gay giggle before Monday arrives.
